These = ये
Used for more than one object that is near.
These शब्द समीप के एक से ज़्यादा व्यक्ति, वस्तु अथवा प्राणी को व्यक्त करता है। These शब्द का प्रयोग अपने समीप एक से ज़्यादा व्यक्ति, वस्तु, स्थिति, प्राणी आदि को इंगित करने के लिए करता है।
This word expresses more than one person, object, or creature in the vicinity. The person who speaks, uses the word to indicate more than one person, object, position, creature, etc. near you.
Example :
| 1. ये लड़कें विद्यार्थी हैं . | These boys are students. |
| 2. ये कुर्सियाँ टूटी हैं . | These chairs are broken. |
| 3. ये लड़कियाँ सुन्दर हैं . | These girls are beautiful. |
Negative Sentences :
| 7. ये लड़कें विद्यार्थी नहीं हैं . | These boys are not students. |
| 9. ये लड़कियाँ सुन्दर नहीं हैं . | These girls are not beautiful. |
| 12. ये लड़कें मेहनत नहीं करेंगे . | These boys will not work hard. |
Those = वे
Used for more than one object that is far.
Those शब्द दूर के एक से ज़्यादा व्यक्ति, वस्तु अथवा प्राणी को व्यक्त करता है। बोलने वाला व्यक्ति Those शब्द का प्रयोग अपने से दूर के एक से ज़्यादा व्यक्ति, वस्तु, स्थिति, प्राणी आदि को इंगित करने के लिए करता है।
This word expresses far more than one person, object or creature. The speaker uses those words to indicate more than one person, object, position, creature etc. away from himself.
Example :
| 1. वे बच्चें हैं . | Those are children. |
| 2. वे लड़कें मेहनती हैं . | Those boys are laborious. |
| 3. वे लड़कें मेहनती थे . | Those boys were laborious. |
Negative Sentences :
| 8. वे बच्चें नहीं हैं . | Those are not children. |
| 10. वे लड़कें मेहनती नहीं हैं . | Those boys are not laborious. |
| 11. वे लड़कें मेहनती नहीं थे . | Those boys were not laborious. |
